I visited the Sinsa branch of Bae Gi-young Healing Therapy. I had a treatment in Hannam-dong before and it was so good, so this time I had some business in Sinsa and got a treatment while I was there. It was a 60-minute aromatherapy session. A very young, handsome therapist who used to be a professional soccer player gave me the treatment himself, and overall I think I was truly very satisfied. First of all, the interior was very upscale, and the doTERRA aromatherapy oils used are, as everyone knows, top quality. The scent itself was healing. He also used doTERRA aroma blended with coconut oil to loosen up my whole body — since he used to be an athlete and has studied the human body a lot, I learned a lot too. I'm thinking of trying this method on myself, since my pelvis is misaligned, and on my son, who has a congenital leg disability. I learned a lot and I'm grateful. 👍☺️

I got a facial contouring treatment from Teacher Kim, and I immediately understood why everyone calls her the 'human foam roller.' Starting from the jaw area and working up along the ears, she presses so deep when releasing the back of the neck and temporalis muscles that you can hear a 'crack' sound. But strangely, it's not painful — it feels incredibly refreshing instead. 🧊 Especially when working on the area behind the ears and the scalp, the tension melted away so much that I dozed off without even realizing it. I think I was out cold for about 10 minutes? When I woke up, my head felt so clear. During the contouring treatment, special tools combine with Teacher Kim's hand technique, and it felt like my uneven cheekbones and jawline were being carved away. I could feel the swelling going down in real time. 💆‍♀️ When I looked in the mirror afterward, my jawline was defined and sharp. It's been a while since I wanted to take a selfie!!

It was really so good ㅠ As I entered my 30s, I felt like my body was falling apart, so I'd been going to another massage shop, but I started to wonder if I was actually being properly cared for. I love getting massages so I've been to many places, but I think I'll settle on this one! My fascia gets released so refreshingly and the owner's pressure is just right!! My fatigue really melts away~ They also add aroma oils depending on the purpose, and the scent is great and healing in itself~~ This is number one among all the massage shops I've been to so far!!!!

The price is reasonable too, and they really pinpointed the stiff spots and pressure points and loosened them well, so it was really great! It's also close to Sinsa Station, so I'll have to come get treatments often!
