Overall it wasn't too bad, and the price was mid-range. It wasn't a factory-style clinic but a specialized dermatology practice, which is why I came here. The doctors' expertise was fine, and their English was very good. The diagnosis was similar to what I got in Taiwan. Both were dermatology specialists with the same academic basis, so I got the same answer. They didn't push extra procedures, but there was no discount either. There's no longer a duty-free system now, so I had to pay the single market price. The downside was that I found it hard to clearly express what I wanted to say in English, and translation apps couldn't convey it properly either, and there happened to be no Chinese interpreter available. But I had prepared my questions in advance, which helped. — Next, the treatment technique differed somewhat from what I received in Seoul. The technique was slightly different. — Also, they give you a doll pillow to hold — I'm not afraid of pain, but with no one comforting me beside me, I felt a bit uncertain about how far along things were, even though I roughly knew what to expect. — Also, I really recommend that Rejuran be opened right in front of the customer, rather than shown to the customer and then taken to the back to be prepared. Still, I trusted this clinic's reputation, and since it's quite large and the doctor was very professional, I trusted them not to cut corners. The doctor's academic background was posted too, so I based my acceptance of the price on that experience! I also specifically wanted a doctor who was purely Korea-educated — The clinic is really pretty and clean, but there was no VIP room service. I had to remove my own makeup and wash my own face. I got completely soaked 😬 — During the procedure they offer you a cup of tea and give you a drink once the treatment is done — Also, the numbing cream was applied very thickly so there was really little pain 😏 — The overall feeling varied a bit, probably because the front desk and aestheticians' English wasn't that great. The nurses were a bit better. — Also, the ointment the doctor prescribed has to be picked up at a prescription pharmacy. It costs about NT$100–200. The wound ointment the doctor prescribed this time was quite effective, and it's an antibiotic not available in Taiwan.

This was my first time trying medical aesthetics in Busan. I wanted to look pretty for my wedding six months later, and after researching a lot online, I decided to consult at Base! They don't have many reviews, but they emphasize one-on-one service, and the director himself has a dermatology specialty background, which was quite reassuring for someone new to medical aesthetics. The clinic is large and the environment is comfortable, and since there could be a language barrier, the clinic also has a Chinese-speaking interpreter, so I could clearly understand everything during the doctor's consultation — communication was absolutely no problem! This point really mattered! The doctor gave very honest advice and didn't push random treatments on me just because it was my first visit. For example, I originally wanted to fill in my under-eye hollows, but since the doctor himself has the same issue, he said my condition wasn't bad enough to need filler, and that filling it would make my face look unnatural when smiling~ I originally came for American Ultherapy, but after the consultation the doctor recommended 600 shots of Fenix RF instead Before the procedure they confirmed the product was freshly opened, the nurse applied numbing cream very thickly, and also used a device to help the numbing absorb better. Fenix RF is inherently somewhat painful, but the doctor also proceeded gradually and gave me something to hold to distract myself 😆 At the end they reconfirmed the number of shots done and provided a certificate and aftercare instructions. I was possibly the only Taiwanese person that day, so the interpreter stayed by my side the whole time from consultation through treatment to the final cooling-down process — if I had any questions I could ask her to translate right away, and she also watched my condition and cared about me. It was really great, she never left me feeling alone and lost 🥹🤍 The very next day after the treatment I could already feel my face was smaller, and I'm really looking forward to the results in a few months. I highly recommend everyone try it here. Although the clinic's prices are a bit higher than the commonly advertised ones you see elsewhere, I feel the doctor's expertise and skill here will really put you at ease~

I got 500-shot Ulthera treatment. After taking photos of my face, the doctor consulted with me, listening carefully to what I wanted and designing the treatment accordingly. Perhaps thanks to the LDM irradiation that boosts anesthesia effectiveness, there wasn't much pain, and 3 hours after finishing, I was surprised that my nasolabial folds that had bothered me had disappeared and my whole lower face had lifted. The doctor and staff were both calm and kind, and both the treatment and explanations were thorough. There was an interpreter with me so I had no language worries, and they sent the price list in advance for transparent pricing, with absolutely no upselling. The interior was clean and calm, and according to the interpreter, it's a clinic more for local residents than tourists. The price might be a bit high, but I'm glad I came! Next time I travel to Busan, I definitely want to come back.

The doctor at Base Dermatology was very kind and provided detailed explanations. I received toning and V-beam laser treatments, and after just five sessions, my skin has improved significantly! I also had some moles removed, and this is the first dermatology clinic I’ve been to that provides such thorough care 😊 The interior was also really beautiful and clean!
