What is Myeongdong?

Myeongdong is Seoul's flagship shopping and beauty district — a dense grid of cosmetics stores, department stores and duty-free halls where major brands run large character and K-beauty pop-ups. It's the easiest pop-up hunting ground for first-time visitors.

How to get there

Take Line 4 to Myeongdong Station or Line 2 to Euljiro 1-ga. Most pop-ups are between Exits 6–8 and the main Myeongdong shopping street, near the Lotte and Shinsegae flagship stores.

Tips for visiting
